Ben Peters is the husband of Brenda Peters and the father of five God-serving children. He has been involved in ministry for well over thirty years. This includes establishing and administrating churches and Christian schools, evangelism, both locally and internationally, and teaching Bible College courses. He is also an author of four books.
Ben received his B.A. and M. Div. through Canadian Theological Seminary in Regina, Saskatchewan. He pastured an Alliance Church in Parry, Saskatchewan for five years and then became an associate pastor and evangelist with E. R. Burnette, a man with a strong healing and miracle ministry, in Albany, Oregon. Ben and Brenda spent eight full years serving under his ministry.
After pioneering Willapa Harbor Christian Fellowship and Christian Fellowship Academy in Raymond, WA, which they ran for almost 15 years, Ben and Brenda transitioned into a traveling ministry. In 1999, under the name "Open Heart Ministries", they began traveling full-time, taking the love of Jesus to thousands of people in a very unique team ministry.
Both Ben and Brenda are now well-established church, camp, retreat and conference speakers, with a passion for the healing of the body of Jesus, and the activation of each member into his or her destiny. Both of them minister prophetically to those who come seeking God for a personal word.
Ben has experienced the glory of God in Argentina, India and Korea, as well as many regions of Canada, Mexico and the U.S. He also teaches on the development and the coming together of the five-fold ministries. With his wife, he has conducting numerous schools of prophetic ministry in three different nations.
The Peters travel full-time as a faith based ministry and do not come with a price-tag or any appeals for financial support. They have seen many saved, delivered and healed, which is their greatest reward.
BRENDA PETERS
Brenda Peters has been raised up by God to touch and encourage thousands of people into their divine destiny and calling. She boldly assures those who hear her that their calling is just as important as her own to the Kingdom of God. Through her transparent honesty, she testifies to the grace of God who has given her the privilege of serving Jesus.
A mother of five God-serving children, and wife of Ben Peters, she has served in ministry for over thirty years in a multitude of capacities. These include children and women's ministries as a pastor's wife, teaching phonetics and speaking in their Christian school, and serving as an operating room technician in both large and small hospitals.
Brenda's reputation as a ladies' speaker is growing rapidly since the couple left their church in Raymond, Washington, in 1997, after fifteen years of service there. She has now ministered in numerous Women's Aglow meetings, ladies meetings, and full-scale ladies retreats, including four years in a row at one Canadian retreat center.
Brenda's style of ministry is very practical, yet dynamic. It is also both entertaining and heart-impacting. Under the name, Open Heart Ministries, both Ben and Brenda focus on touching people's hearts, to open them up to God's love, and to encourage them to serve God with all their hearts.
From her traumatic childhood to her present adventures of life-on-the-road, Brenda's real life experiences have given her much material for the impacting stories she tells. Her audiences often alternate between laughter and tears, as they identify with her joys and pain.
Brenda grew up in Seattle and then attended Canadian Bible College, in Regina, Saskatchewan, where she met her husband, Ben. They have served together as pastors of a country church, as associate pastors to a man with a strong healing and deliverance anointing, and also as pastors of Willapa Harbor Christian Fellowship and Christian Fellowship Academy, which they founded in 1983, in Raymond, Washington, a small fishing and logging community on the Pacific Coast.
When not doing ladies meetings, Brenda usually co-ministers with her husband and flows not only with a strong speaking ministry, but also with a strong prophetic anointing. Together, by God's grace, Ben and Brenda have given personal prophetic ministry to several thousand individuals, in both North American and South Korea in just the last three years.
The Peters live and minister by faith in God, not only for the results in people's lives, but also for their own support. They make no requests or appeals for finances and have seen God take care of them miraculously.
